What is a stranger session? Short answer… a blind date set up by me!
What if your next photoshoot came with a little chemistry, a little mystery, and maybe even a future first date?
My Blind Date Sessions are a fun, low-pressure way to meet someone new while taking part in a completely free photoshoot together.
You’ll apply, tell me a little about yourself and what you’re looking for, and I’ll personally review the applications and pair participants who I think could genuinely be a good match. If selected, I’ll plan the session, introduce you to your mystery date, and photograph the two of you meeting and getting to know each other.
Maybe you leave with cute photos and a funny story.
Maybe you make a new friend.
Maybe you meet someone you actually want to see again.
That part is up to you. 🤍
What You Need to Know
There is no photography session fee for selected Blind Date participants.
There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee. You'll need to complete a Blind Date Session questionnaire at checkout. This will help me so I can learn more about you, your personality, your preferences, and the kind of person you may connect with.
Paying the application fee does not guarantee that you will be selected or matched. If you aren’t chosen for the current round of sessions, I may keep your application on file and consider you for a future match at no additional application fee. The goal is to match you with someone who could actually be a good fit, not just anyone who signs up.
The Fine Print
To participate, you must:
Be at least 21 years old.
Complete the application honestly. The more genuine you are, the better chance I have of finding someone who may actually be compatible with you.
Meet the criteria for an available match. Not every applicant will be paired, and I will never force a match simply to fill a session.
Come with an open mind and a good sense of humor. This is supposed to be fun! There are no guarantees of romantic chemistry, and that’s part of the adventure.
Commit fully to your scheduled session. Once you accept a match and session date, I’m counting on you to show up. Please do not apply if there is a strong possibility you may cancel or no-show.
Be willing to genuinely interact with your match during the session. You don’t have to manufacture chemistry or physical affection, but you should be comfortable talking, laughing, participating in prompts, and giving the experience a real chance.
Agree to being photographed and filmed. Blind Date Sessions may include photographs, behind-the-scenes video, reactions, and portions of your story being shared on my website and social media. Selected participants will sign a release and participation agreement before the session.
Provide a recent, unedited photo of yourself as part of the application process so I can accurately review potential matches.
Understand that the $50 application fee is nonrefundable. Application fees will not be refunded, exchanged, or credited if you are not selected, choose not to participate, or are unable to be matched.
A Few Important Things
I’ll do my best to thoughtfully review applicants and create matches based on the information YOU provide, but I cannot guarantee attraction, compatibility, a second date, or a romantic relationship.
You will always have the right to establish your own physical and personal boundaries during the session. A good connection is encouraged. Forced affection is not.
